Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this wind fairing for your Front Runner Slimline II low profile platform rack. Now this aerodynamic fairing is going to deflect air over your 45 7/8 inch to 49 3/8 inch wide Slimline II low profile platform rack. And this is going to help reduce wind noise and drag. And the sleek design is going to also enhance the look of your rack. Now standard and tall profile racks should use the Front Runner wind fairings for standard or tall racks.

And on your screen, I am including our item number for that faring that will work with your standard or tall profile racks. And let me go ahead and just give you some overall dimensions on this faring. So let me lay it down here, give you an overhead view, retrieve my tape measure here. And looking at the overall width, which I hope you can see, we are sitting right at about 42 13/16 inches wide. And then looking at the overall height here at the center, we're sitting right at five inches tall.

And the fairing itself weighs a little over three pounds. And I wanted to give you a closer look at this rubber seal here. This is, this rubber seal is constructed of EPDM rubber. And this steel is going to eliminate gaps between the fairing and the roof. And the included clear protective strip here that you probably weren't able to see there originally is going to help prevent scuffs on your finish.

You're just gonna take this strip and peel it away from this backing and then apply that to the roof of your vehicle. And then that's going to protect that roof from scuffing or anything like that. So that is also included with this fairing. We also have these adjustable brackets that's going to let you angle this fairing for the best performance. And as you can see, this does include hardware to mount this to your faring and to your rack.

And the faring itself has a perforated punch out section to accommodate for a center front antenna or shark fins. I do wanna point out that this may interfere with sunroof operation on some vehicles, so it's gonna be a good idea to check your vehicle to see if that might be the case with this. And this is going to be an easy installation on the front bottom channel of your Front Runner Slimline II low profile platform rack. Again with the included brackets and hardware. And this is constructed of aluminum so it's lightweight but very durable. And we do have a black powder coating on this. And so this is going to stand up really well to the elements.
